is seeking a Transition Assistance Program Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting military members, retirees, and civilian personnel facing transitions from service.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive data entry services for the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) and other related programs offered through the Military and Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) at Columbus Air Force Base.
Additionally, you will assist in administrative functions and program coordination as needed.
*Responsibilities:* · Perform data entry tasks for the Transition Assistance Program (TAP), ensuring accurate and timely input of information into various computer systems.
· Assist in arranging classroom setups for workshops, ensuring necessary amenities like chilled water, coffee, and snacks are available for participants.
· Support administrative functions such as maintaining records, updating job listings, and contacting employers for job leads.
· Serve as a point of contact for customers seeking assistance, providing information on available programs, and directing them to appropriate M&FRC staff members.
· Maintain inventory and computerization of required TAP materials, ensuring availability for program participants.
· Collaborate with M&FRC staff to collect, maintain, and report statistical information related to program activities.
· Provide technical assistance to customers using computer-based programs and assist in troubleshooting any issues.
· Support the setup and maintenance of classroom environments for workshops and training sessions.
· Maintain security protocols and adhere to privacy regulations when handling sensitive information.
· Assist in marketing and publicizing M&FRC program activities through various channels, including social media and center events.
*Qualifications:* · Minimum of one year of experience working with transition assistance programs or similar social service agencies, or equivalent academic qualifications in social sciences/social work.
· Proficiency in computer management and Microsoft Office Suite products.
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups.
· Familiarity with military protocols and support group organizations is desirable.
· Ability to maintain professionalism and adhere to dress and grooming standards.
· Capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
· Willingness to obtain necessary base access and computer access credentials, including a Common Access Card (CAC).
· Commitment to upholding security protocols and safeguarding sensitive information.
