Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee records and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with document processing, including data collection and entry into HRIS system (UKG)
- Assist with unemployment claims and FMLA document processing
- Assist with employee relations issues and provide support to employees regarding HR policies and procedures
- Assist with training and development initiatives, including scheduling training sessions and tracking employee participation
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including OSHA requirements
- Conduct exit interviews and assist with offboarding processes
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using HRIS systems such as Kronos, Ceridian, UltiPro, Paychex, or ADP
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Experience with conducting interviews is a plus
