BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for providing administrative and operational support for the Booking/Servicing area of Loan Operations.
Perform daily loan servicing duties, provide guidance and support to branch lending personnel for all commercial, consumer and real estate loans, as well as providing operational assistance for special lending programs.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Perform booking of all new loans, renewals, modifications and changes in terms on the Jack Henry core operating system.
Review and perform loan maintenance activities, including rate and coding changes, billing record adjustments, payoffs and other miscellaneous loan changes.
Participate in daily balancing activities and reconciliation of Loan Settlement, various general ledger accounts and addressing unposted items.
Perform quality control reviews of uploaded loan data for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare daily, weekly and/or monthly general ledger reconciliations and research clearing items.
Process participation and SBA transactions to or from participating banks and/or investor services.
Provide support for real estate loan escrow program.
Address questions from Branch personnel and assist in the resolution of loan-related issues.
Interact with internal and external auditors and compliance, as needed.
Assist with other ad hoc projects and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS College degree in a related field preferred and/or minimum of 5 years of related work experience 3 years working experience with Jack Henry & Associates operating systems, Silverlake preferred Knowledgeable in loan transaction entries Adaptive and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task while remaining attentive to detail Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly and accurately Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with peers, management and customers Strong interpersonal and time management skills, with customer service orientation and aptitude Proficient PC and technical skills necessary to perform related job duties
