Job Summary: The Assistant Athletic Director of Crimson Tide Productions oversees the video operations of Crimson Tide Productions.
Produces, directs, and serves as a contact for digital and linear games on SEC Network and SECN.
Oversees content creation, marketing, and production.
Provides, guidance, trains, and/or may supervise Crimson Tide Productions staff and student employees.
Additional Department Summary: This position oversees all functions for the video operations of Crimson Tide Productions and is responsible for the overall leadership and technical expertise in the production of major broadcast events.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in broadcast production, communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing in a collegiate or professional sports environment; OR a Master's degree four (4) years of experience in broadcast production communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing in a collegiate or professional sports environment.
Skills and Knowledge: Ability to communicate positively and effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to build and sustain positive, credible working relationships with staff and internal clients.
Comprehensive understanding of Final Cut Pro editing system, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Windows, and Mac operating systems.
Ability to meet deadlines under stressful circumstances.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
Ability to read and comprehend complicated procedures and processes, to negotiate technical assistance, and establish schedules.
Strong knowledge of broadcast operations.
Must demonstrate a belief in and a proven ability as a positive change agent.
Comprehensive understanding of various pieces of broadcast equipment such as Video switchers, Clip Servers, Replay devices, etc.
Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of 3D graphics software.
