Part-Time Childcare Food Service Coordinator

*Creative Learning Center* We are hiring a Food Service Coordinator to support our mission of providing a quality preschool program.
*Qualifications for Food Service Coordinator* * Must meet basic requirements of local child care and food service regulatory agencies * Familiar with proper food storage * Ability to create and follow nutritious menus and plan and prepare sufficient quantities of food for children * Maintains awareness of children that have allergies and food restrictions and offers substitute items to children * Ensures food service area is safe and implements procedures to avoid food cross-contamination * Ensures that each meal or snack is ready to be served when scheduled * Assists with ordering food and is able to calculate the amount needed * Maintains an orderly, clean and safe kitchen area at all times, including the proper maintenance of equipment * Previous experience in quantity food preparation and ordering is required * Must have at least 2 years experience in a formal setting * Tummy-Safe or Serve-Safe Certification is required Hours for the position are Monday-Friday 7:15am-1:30pm Job Type: Part-time Pay: $10.
