The Front Desk Representative will perform all duties associated with efficiently registering patients requiring services at Pause Pain and Wellness, LLC.
*Duties* * Greet patients with utmost kindness and respect * Gathering of correct information to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
* Check the patient’s paperwork for accuracy and completion * Knowledgeable regarding registration process * Check-In/Register Patients for Clinic Office Visits and Procedures * Obtain identification and insurance information from each patient during the registration process * Insurance Verification * Front Desk Representative will be trained so that they may become proficient and maintain the standardized benchmarks for the department by alerting the Supervisor as supplies are needed * Request cash co-payments, cash deposits, and cash payments from each patient * Accountable for providing accurate receipts for payment transactions * Files any necessary department paperwork according to department guidelines Answer phones, schedule appointments, cancel appointments, reschedule appointments, and/or procedures.
*Qualifications* * High school diploma or its equivalent is required * Excellent Customer Service * Must have basic clerical skills, typing, filing, ability to communicate with the public, doctors, nurses and patients * Ability to maintain composure when faced with difficult situations * Must be able to handle confidential situations with tact * Ability to work with computers, electronic devices, telephones, fax machines Must possess the ability to do multiple tasks simultaneously *Lifting Requirements* * Sedentary- Generally lifting not more than 10 lbs.
maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as ledgers, files and small items.
*Schedule* *8AM-5PM, Wednesday/Thursday/Friday, Break from 12pm-1pm.
* Job Type: Part-time Pay: $13.
00 - $15.
