As we continue to expand our operations, we are actively seeking motivated Owner Operators to operate under our authority.
IRP plates,ELD, IFTA, Tolls, Permits (as needed) are all covered.
*Position Overview:*We are looking for experienced Owner Operators with their own tractor and flatbed or step-deck trailer (48-53ft) as well as load securement equipment.
As an Owner Operator at Blackwater River Logistics LLC, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team, earn competitive rates, and benefit from an 80/20 profit split arrangement
Self-dispatching is not authorized.
IRP Plates, IFTA, ELD, Tolls, Permits (as needed,) covered.
*Responsibilities:*
Transport various flatbed loads, ensuring safe and timely delivery to designated destinations.
Secure cargo using proper load securement equipment and techniques.
Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and guidelines.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on your truck and trailer to ensure roadworthiness.
Maintain accurate records of hours of service, mileage, and any necessary documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route changes, delays, or other relevant information.
Uphold a strong commitment to safety by following company safety policies and procedures.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and other road users.
*Qualifications:*
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
Own a well-maintained flatbed truck and trailer with load securement equipment.
Minimum of 2 years of flatbed truck driving experience.
Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
