Crown Transportation, Tuscaloosa and Central Alabama's premier airport and luxury sedan service, is actively seeking part-time professional drivers/chauffeurs to join our team.
This is an exciting job that offers flexible hours, great pay, and in many situations, tips are part of the package.
A CDL is *NOT* required to be a Crown driver.
If driving luxury vehicles, meeting interesting people, and making good money appeal to you, this may be the flexible part-time income you've been looking for.
As a driver for Crown, you will provide outstanding sedan and business-class travel services to our varied clientele.
Crown primarily provides door-to-door sedan service to and from the Tuscaloosa area to/from the Birmingham Airport (BHM), but our drivers also drive our luxury limousines, provide local and regional group travel, gameday transportation, as well as provide airport service to the many UA Students.
Many of our driving opportunities happen early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays and we will also try our best to work around your existing job schedule.
*Candidates with a background in professional driving or experience with driving larger vehicles will be given top priority.
* Candidates should also possess excellent customer service and communications skills.
Only applicants who live in the West Alabama area will be considered for this position.
Crown Chauffeurs are required to always present themselves in a clean, neat, and professional manner and abide by Crown's driver dress code.
Drivers for Crown must have a level of agility and mobility that allows them to easily enter and exit all vehicles and also assist passengers.
The ability to lift heavy luggage is also a daily requirement.
All candidates must have a great driving record, be able to pass a drug screen/DOT physical, clear a three-part background check, and have their own reliable transportation.
Because of our insurer's requirements, all drivers must be at least 25 years old.
