Drives feed truck transporting materials to and from specified feed mill and farm destinations be performing the following duties:
Must have a valid Class A CDL- NON RESTRICTED
Meet all DOT requirements
At least 21 years of age
No DUI or reckless driving convictions in the past 7 years
Meet all minimum requirements of FMCSR
2 years CDL experience preferred
Requirements
Safety: Wear seat belt at all times, safely operate tanker type tractor trailer with high center of gravity, follow the required and recommended safety practices and procedures, report all accidents promptly through the proper authorities.
Operations: Successfully complete a road test, properly pre-trip and post-trip the equipment, work in a single driver environment, position equipment properly to offload ingredients safely into feed bins, drive in day/night environments with mixed traffic conditions, maintain driver logs as well as other paperwork as required.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to pass DOT physical for pre-hire, must be able to climb feed bins when needed in all seasons, must be able to shovel feed spills when necessary and lift 35 pounds without difficulty.
