Essential Duties Serves as the initial point of contact for the Office of Admissions; provides administrative support to both the Office of Admissions and Enrollment Management.
Greets visitors in the Office of Admissions; answers the direct phone line and transfers calls to the appropriate person.
Supports department operations by maintaining office systems; coordinates workflow and delegation of responsibility and tasks as designated by the Director of Admissions.
Takes, picks up, sorts and distributes mail.
Coordinates department mail-outs.
Enters data in Customer Relations Management (CRM) software related to prospective students and applicants Prepares new applicant files for evaluation.
Assists in coordinating campus visits for prospective students; corresponds with prospective students.
Assists in scheduling advising appointments for prospective students.
Maintains adequate levels of office, equipment and mail supplies as well as recruitment and marketing materials; orders when needed.
Maintains office files, equipment and inventory records.
Assists Director of Admissions with fiscal and budget responsibilities including monthly budget reconciliation reports; biweekly payroll processing, entering purchase orders and assisting with contracts.
Helps with training and supervision of the Student Ambassador team.
Assists with other Admissions projects and programs such as special events.
Performs other reasonable duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college or technical school coursework and/or practical knowledge required.
Experience: Requires more than 1 year of experience in a professional office environment Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to organize and prioritize work Ability to work collaboratively with students, employees and throughout the campus community Job Description Summary Provides administrative support and office management duties required for the general operations of the Office of Admissions.
