Essential Duties
Teaching responsibilities include 12 hours per semester of instruction consisting of introductory through upper-level mathematics courses, according to the expertise of the new hire.
Additional responsibilities include professional and scholarly activities and service to the University and community.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a Ph.
D.
degree in mathematics and evidence of excellence in teaching.
Breadth of teaching ability across a range of undergraduate courses is desired, such as algebra, analysis, non-Euclidean geometry, calculus, elementary and secondary mathematics education, and/or introductory statistics.
