Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team.
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for young children.
You will play a vital role in their development by implementing age-appropriate activities and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and curiosity
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child based on their unique needs and abilities
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the holistic development of each child
- Assess the progress of each child through observation, documentation, and assessment tools
- Maintain accurate records of each child's development and communicate progress to parents or guardians regularly
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a supportive community
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications:
- CDA or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience working with young students in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Familiarity with special education strategies for supporting children with diverse learning needs
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education, physical education, and other developmental areas
- Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain accurate records
