I am interested in keeping the 3rd bedroom as a guest/mixed use room for us, so we are each paying a bit more for this luxury.
Room available is very large - about 19 X 13 feet with big windows throughout, and a closet with built-in shelves.
You would have your own bathroom.
The house has a large open floor plan, beautiful hardwood floors, modern kitchen with high-end appliances, stone countertops and island, recessed lighting, gas fireplace, and tons of natural light.
We have a washer/dryer in the unit.
There is a small garden in the back.
There is storage space in the attic.
On-street parking.
I'm a woman in my 40s, work from home, about 4 months every summer, so you would essentially have the place to yourself during that time.
I am independent, responsible, positive, and laid-back.
I would enjoy time together and also am respectful of space.
I value a comfortable, welcoming home with the occasional dinner party or holiday party, but my late night days are behind me.
Non-smoking/drug-free house.
I have a 5 year old friendly, well-trained dog.
I may be open to another dog in the house with the right fit.
My current housemate of 11 years is moving out, and I expect availability around mid-March (open to later date).
Rent is $450/month (rent-controlled).
Additional shared bills include DSL, PG&E, trash/water, and house cleaning.
Security deposit is $200.
