FOR SALE: 14 Acres of Farmland in Rural Eastern Monroe County, Mississippi.
Are you getting tired of stresses of big city life, worrying about getting shot, carjacked or just rude drivers tailgating you, in the Memphis and North Mississippi area? Well, here is a solution.
Move out!! With what looks like, every passing day, that the United States will experience high or hyper-inflation; farmland is a wonderful hedge against inflation and most certainly, could be the purchase, that allows survival, for the person or families that own one.
In an unstable environment, too, being a farm owner, of a farm off the beaten path, might be very important to keep you and your family happy, and safe, too.
Small town and rural life, in my opinion, with the aid of the internet, for communications and the ability to receive supplies and food delivery, make the country living experience, much superior to life, in the big city.
Now days, you can get almost anything delivered to your door, quickly.
Full hookup for TV and internet make those conveniences, the same, as in the big city.
No matter how large your home or estate in the city; feeling the safety and freedom of country life, is much better.
My farm property listing is for 14 acres, approximately 1/2 of the acreage of it is a ready-to-plant farm field, plus the other half acreage is clear cut land, with which; you can plant anything you want or use as a pasture.
There is a ready concrete farm equipment/RV pad that is 20 x 40 feet on the acreage.
How big is an acre? It's about 75% of a football field or another way, to think about it is; it's the size of a football field without end zones, that's about 90% of an acre.
So, we're talking here, about an area about the size of 14 football fields.
Deer and other game roam the land, freely.
It is backed, just behind the property by the Buttahatchie River, with fish.
The land is beautiful and would make a perfect setting for your farm and home.
Where would you live while working on your land? If you own a camper of any kind; you can park it on the farmland or bring in a manufactured home, and by putting in an electric hookup and septic system; you can take as long as you need, to get the property the way you want it to be.
If you would rather live in a nearby town during the process; several towns in the vicinity have RV parks, where you can stay for only a few hundred dollars, a month.
There are also, several Mississippi state and county parks, rivers and lakes nearby, as well as those run by the US Corps of Engineers.
Columbus, Starkville, Tupelo and West Point are all within about 50 miles of the property; this means shopping, site seeing, education, live entertainment, SEC sports, industry and medical centers are all within an hour drive.
Also, the proximity to those towns means you have several tv stations, that you can recieve, with only a tv antenna.
